Banyuls-sur-Mer

Welcome to Banyuls-sur-Mer in the heart of the Catalane coast!

Nestled in a hollow in the Pyrénées, beach, port, and vines colour your first impression of Banyuls-sur-Mer. You will not be able to resist venturing into the narrow cobbled streets of Cap d'Osna, then further on to Puig del Mas, ancient Roman oppidum.

Banyuls-sur-Mer is also the birthplace of famous sculptor Aristide Maillol to whom is dedicated a magnificent museum, and the home of renowned terraced vineyards as far as the eye can see, producers of the famous ‘Banyuls’ wine. Superb walks with stunning views allow you to discover both the coast and the surrounding countryside.
