If you like water the Bouillouses Lake (Le site des Bouillouses) is a the starting location of hikers to peaks Carlit and Pérics. Close to natural areas of Cerdanya and Capcir in the Carlit mountain massif, the Bouillouses Lake and its surroundings are classified as a natural site since 1977.
There is something for everybody, whether you are alone or with the family, on a simple walk or a strenuous hike. Hikes can last from a few hours to a day or much longer.

    The Chalet de l'Albère is the starting point for many hiking trails, due to its location on the GR10 footpath. It lies 30 minutes from Le Boulou: go towards Le Perthus and, upon reaching the car park at the village entrance, make a left to take the D71 road and follow the "Col de l'Ouillat (936 m)" signs. Stéphane offers you a warm welcome and invites you to enjoy his traditional restaurant, which boasts a panoramic terrace overlooking the Canigou. In winter, you can organise evening group events with the accommodation and party menu option (with raclette or fondue, among others).
